Since 1999, American Maintenance and Cleaning Services has been owned and operated by Carey Winter. Carey lives in Saginaw with his family.
As the Managing Partner, he oversees all day to day operations. While managing the company, we have seen a lot of growth in the last few years.
Today, American Maintenance and Cleaning Services has roughly 155 employees, and provides cleaning to facilities in 17 counties in Michigan. We hire our cleaners that are local to the facility they will be cleaning. Staff is very important. Our longest tenured member has been cleaning for 30 years.
Our current in field management staff consists of two operations managers, Willie Connyer and Joshua Sell. Willie started with the company in 2011 and Joshua came aboard in 2017. These two essential employees help our seven area supervisor, who each oversee the nightly operations and cleaning of their assigned facilities.
In the office, Tanya Spencer is the delightful voice answering the phone. She oversees employee payroll and keeping the office in line. Peter Schaefer is the primary face to face contact for our customers; providing proposals and visiting our clients throughout the month to check on quality. Carey Winter shuffles all the behind the scenes paper, from invoicing to paying bills, as well as overseeing all operations.
